I gather this place is fresh water, do you reckon it would would feel much different to a normal wave due to the less buoyancy of the fresh over salt water ?

And we could one a pool with a 6' wave and one with a 3' wave. In theory same wave just different signs

I heard a rumour he was looking at a trial site not far from my place - approx. 15mins away

If its true I can assure you I will do my best to be a guinea pig.........
