Strangely seems like they are using a centre stringer...which is different to the parabolic rail thing. Be interesting to see how these stand up to abuse, coz the original carbon rod system was as weak as piss. The FST tech was way stronger but still seemed to be inconsistent. Boards would either break on a duck dive or be virtually indestructible.

I had an FST Taj model, was very tough, no deck dents at all.

These look interesting, that stringer looks very solid.

LFT definitely looks interesting.

Seems firewire are blazing ahead with new shapes and construction technology.

I just bought a Baked Spud in Timbertek, looks amazing.

whats all the other big brands doing??

These guys are going on about this tech, shop.surfindustries.com/us/brands/7s-surfboards/ who know what it'll be like. Love the way most manufacturers pump out something, blat on about it but don't have any "ride reports" even from their sponsored guys to show/help us punters make an informed decision. Emailed the guys in Byron about the XF tech re McCoy nugs asked any reports, complete roaring silence.

I really enjoyed my Superfish and often think about it. But in only a short time it looked more like a golf ball than a surf board

Vanguard is amazing! Try the Nano soon. Like to try the double agent in slop but can't get my head around the sizes of that one.
