Does anyone have one and what do you think of it?

Also, where in Perth can I get a deal on one if I go down that path?

Yep we have them. I'm not there right now but we usually have in stock. The 2011 model is reduced in price (if any are left) and the only difference with 2012 is the new ones come with FCS fins and a small change to the gloss finish. 2012 model is RRP$525, maybe a bit less for seabreeze dudes and dudettes.
The surf series are the same board but don't come with legrope, grip or colours and retail for $425 I think.
Matt is there now on 9245 5210 if needed.
Sorry for pimping your ride.

Thanks P co. Are they any good? It's not for me but for a relative who's evolving from a boogie board, mid teens can read waves etc and wants to stand up.

I think they are great, toughest on the market, surf well, look good and very fairly priced. My nephews and nieces all used them and most younger surfers hang onto them once they move on to shorter boards to use in summer. Great resale if you want to sell.

You did have me wondering ... glad you cleared it up.

I'd personally prefer a local or Australian shaped board than a popout, but it's hard to resist popouts for a throwaway learners board.

Not for me but who knows, maybe I'll take it for a paddle over summer

I've had an idea to help you out whilst you're recovering from surgery. I could borrow it and being a 6'8" you could lay on the board and I could push you onto waves saving you from having to paddle.

I learnt on one years ago and I still have it. It's a great board and seems to be unbreakable given the rocks it's hit! You can sort of nose ride it. I know a lot of people on here will get mad, saying it's a machine-made popout, however it is probably good for your requirements.
