I'm looking at the creatures 6'7" multi (2-4) board bag. Has anyone has experience with these bags? Is it easy enough to carry the no-wheels bag (if it's at full capacity)? The wheels bag weighs 6kg, while the no-wheels bag weighs 3.8kg. Going to Bali next week and I don't want to risk paying excess for the weight if its going to be over 15kg. The big question for me is, is it worth paying $70-80 more for the convenience of the wheels, and then possibly having to pay for excess weight at the airport? If people with experience can tell me if it's possible to carry the wheel-less bag with relative ease, problem solvered!

I make boardbags, I put a few pictures of an alternative up on an earlier post about coffins. Bags with wheels are a bit of a dinosaur these days with the excess baggage issue, you are going to bali so it is not a great cost to get your bag carried out of the airport for you. Also once you brake the wheels they can't be fixed, you cant fix a zip either I've tried. The creatures of leisure bag at 3.8 kg is quite heavy, I just made a 7'4" custom double bag that came out at 2.7 kg, creatures are good quality ,I am surprised by the weight. I'd try to flog you one of mine, but with postage being $40+ for a single cover to Perth so for a double or triple it would make it over $200 so it's unrealistic.
