I wonder if the Lancelin shark was inside the reef or outside?

There was a 4m shark spotted off southern end of singleton this arvo too, 30m offshore

"The shark that was involved in the most recent attack on a surfer at Red Bluff, (north of Carnarvon in the Gascoyne) on the 28th August 2012 was being tracked by Fisheries W.A for weeks prior - yet Fisheries had given no warning to the public and no information to Shark Alarm. The sharks involved in the last 4 shark attacks have been sighted days/weeks prior to the attack, many not reported to authorites and Shark Alarm."

This indicates that culling of beach-prowling sharks could be effective at reducing shark attacks on humans.

who spotted the shark at singleton swimmer, surfer, fisherman ect. I was out down that way about 4 ish till 6 nice conditions for the fish or long board. I got to stop reading these post's, surely everyone is just looking for them now.

Actually two fins were reported first. Then SLSWA said it was a sunfish. I questioned how they confused a 4mtr great white with a sunfish? They said they acted on reports, sent the chopper down and saw only a sun fish. SO they said sun fish. But then said it must have been a shark as well Confusing much.

Does anyone know how far south and north the spotter chopper goes

I also thought it was interesting no reports on Sat, the chopper or ring in's but Sunday there was about 5 in total but still none from the spotter chopper.

Hey JBS the choppers fly over margs and gracetown all the time in summer but not sure how far north they go past cape naturaliste.
