Pyramids beach was closed this morning as it was reported 2 sharks were feeding in the wedge. The sharks were said to be aprox. 3 mtr's long and could have been anything from bull, tiger, bronze or great white. It depends who was telling the story.
The Port Bouvard surf club shut the beach and the Mandurah Board Riders have had to cancel today's comp.
Another site has been reporting a white around the beach for the past 3 or so day's.
So if you are down that way keep your eyes open.

They are all over the place at the moment. I heard they closed the beach from south point to ellensbrooke for the whole weekend a couple of weeks age because of a big white pointer hanging around.

Well Marz says a big white has been at Avalon last week. Thought he was just trying to scare people but seeing as the beach was closed down he sounds more creditable. Seeing as I was going to go for a dive on the reef tomorrow I will now keep it in mind.
The closed beach didn't put off a few groms who gave the clubies the bird and continued to try and catch a wave.
