Any difference from standard fins? I know they are very light.

Dimple technology is bull****...if it was any good the boards they were making with that rubbish in 91' would still be relevant....

They were big holes rather than dimples tho and not enough to have the same effect.
The dimples on the fins are the same as a golf ball. Tbh Im not sure how they would go but a few people have used them.

The theory is they trap air and the water slides right over the tope apparently...in reality the water has further to move over the surface so they slow you down or do nothing....thats how it was explained to me...I'm no scientist....

Spot on, but as with golf balls the surface has to have plenty for the theory to work, Ive seen a few boards with the dimple bottoms and they may have 4 or 6 dimples, 2 or 3 on each side.
I dont know how these boards worked but they couldnt have been that great as you say.
Colin Earle has tried them as a quad and said they were good and the board felt faster. Feeling fast and being fast are two different things as well.
