Looking at getting a short fatty, about 5'4" for Newcastle beach breaks. I have ridden a Sweet Potato and had a good time in 1 foot slop. but wondering if anyone had any thoughts or experience with the Diverse McBean or Pier Pony?

Cheers

I've been riding a Pier Pony for the last few months.
Fast, skatey, spins with ease.
Everything from ankle slappers to head high reefs seems to be in its range.
Thoroughly recommended

Best small wave board i've ever owned was a 5' 4' al merrick biscuit. Don't even know if they still make them, but this thing was a rocket.

Some info here may help ya. I have a SP and love it. Presently building a Baked Potato look a like to replace it - big fans of them.
