Ah well - looks like I'll be going to watch the Avon Descent on Sunday then... at least there should be a good amount of water this year... [still would rather be surfing a sunny Friday arvo tho']
Checked Pyramids today whilst enroute somewhere for a ride. No banks, quite surprising despite the recent weather. Small very inconsistent swell, biggest wave I witnessed was pushing waist high. Singletrack was fast and flowing though
