And if you have read his book it's a pretty white bread life apart from a few issues in his youth.
A better movie would be Michael Peterson or Miki Dora or someone with more colour.
An extremely winning athlete with the Midas touch would kind of get boring eh?

Yeah,, if he had won all those titles,
and lived Tiger Woods or Charlie Sheen's life style,
would be an interesting read.

I heard he wasn't a real peoples person. Sticks to himself and doesn't get along with many people. He has a gift we all wish we had, but might die lonely. At the Drug Aware Pro, he would not have photo's, stayed away from the tour crew and left on the Friday after he got knocked, even though he was to surf the expression.
After so many years on the tour I am sure he would get sick of it all, but if you read Mick's book, Kelly was/ is an angry surfer.
