It amazes me how many facey/chat pages are writing it off. Phucken mental wave. Utterly perfect. Hard to say without surfing it but perhaps the only place it's lacking is in a bit of grunt. I'd happily give a nut for one in the back yard. $10 a wave wouldn't bat an eyelid.

Unfortunately like a million others I haven't surfed the Kelly pool but have tried the other ones out there.
My experience is that they are better fun than the average overcrowded session that we are used to.
Pay your money for the hour. One person one wave. Paddle out to the fence and wait for Huey to hit the button and your away.
I agree it doesn't beat a day in the ocean but if your focus is to ride waves then your in luck
Definitely the way forward as the average day surfing is becoming a bedlam
