Does anyone know first hand how to get water out of epoxy boards?

Does the water pool under the ding or disperse through out the board due to the open cell nature of the blank.

I have heard of:
Pulling out the vent plug and pressurizing the board to about 5psi.
Heating up the ding with an open flame. No thanks!
Centrifuge and drilling a hole at each end. My Board is 9'11". Love to see it done!

I suspect it has been sucking small amounts of water over a long period.

Interested to hear your thoughts.

Except make that a month not couple of days, it does disperse well.

you will never get it all out unless blowing warm dried air from one end to the other ata VERY low pressure /flow (easy to pop a board).

Search for the threads here in windsurf forum it comes up again and again

you can also use a small fish tank pump set on a very low pull and leave for a couple of days in a warm dry environment, with value open. Pump sucks out air + water and draws in warm dry air

Sorry to thread steal but i didn't want to start another for a simple question.

My Sweet Potato has a small mark on the rail (from kids dropping it) i can feel it but there is no crack as such, do i need to get that fixed

Fixed? Yes.
But get it fixed? No.
