Hey guys looking to buy a new board I am 174cm tall and about 70KG I have been surfing for about 10 years and would consider myself to be an average surfer of average fitness (don't get out as much as I should lol).

My current board is 6'1 by 18" by 2 1/4" which I feel is lacking volume for me

I mainly surf beach brakes and won't usually go out once surf gets around 6ft or more. I'm looking for something with more volume and an easier paddle to get more waves but still good performance

I have a fish also that is 5'11 by 20" by 2 3/4 I find I enjoy riding this more as it makes surfing much easier but it is a bit sloppy once your on a quality wave. It's some cheap HB board.

So basically I'm looking to bridge the gap between the 2, I have short listed a few so if someone could help me pick one or throw in some more suggestions and advice I'd appreciate it. Looking to use this new board as my everyday performance board.

Pretty much any decent shaper does a good 6'0 everyday wave board these days?

Why not go with one of the local masters, rather than sending you money elsewhere?

That being said...I went against my norm recently and dropped some bucks on a 5'11 Mayhem Beach Buggy.

Best board I've had in a long time. Comes out of the Chilli factory, so I suppose you could argue its a Sydney board!

I'm 6'0 and a touch under 80 kg

Love the board - it's gone well in everything from 1 foot Perth grovellers to DOH down south juice.

Interesting Im the same height about 85kg (pies )

Maybe a 6.0 for me

Thanks for the info guys. Ended up going for the evolution at a 5'11 x 19 1/4 x 2 3/8 with a quad and round tail. Now the waiting game :D

After looking at the sizes some of you guys are riding, figured I'd opt for a shorter board.
