Anyone out there surfed Hangover Bay near Cervantes much and have an idea of what conditions work?

I was up there went (apparently) a 3.5 m swell was running & there wasn't a ripple, let alone a wave.
At best I've seen a small unsurfable wave .. anybody else?

get a boat and have a look further out

Yeah it's rubbish for surfing. It's not really a break, just a nice swimming beach.
