Yes, I know rookie mistake but it was pumping down south a couple weeks back! Put sunscreen on my neck and because the wetsuit has a rubber inner neck part, it melted and with the 12pm sun, left a pretty decent rash/ burn on me after.
Now I am trying to wash off the rubber but it remains sticky regardless of what soap I use. Anyone else have this problem and know how to clean up the rubber?
I remember reading on here a few weeks ago- bloke actually got the wetty metled to his neck, after peeling it off left a black mark that he couldnt get rid of
Why don't you try some of that wetsuit cleaner stuff and soak it in that. I know you can get stuff called piss off! I used to work in a surf shop and an old guy complained that it was offensive having that in the shop - ha! We all pissed ourselves laughing!
The only thing that will remove the sunscreen from your wettie is the blood from a virgin black chicken, but this will only work on the 4th Friday of months starting with a "J". Hope this helps.
