And get paid say $20 per hour to go surfing?

I'm not sure how to about this as I don't know anybody who surfs in WA.... see I use to be a surfer living on the Gold Coast or should I say Coolangatta right around from Snapper Rocks -I use to surf everyday and quite often saw the likes of Mick Fanning, this was proir to my accident that has meant that I'm a quadripelgic and this means when I'm in the water I need assistance moving around the break -pulling into waves and getting out the back but once I'm out the back I'm fine by myself - I have no problems getting in and out of the water, just need a bit of help when in the water....... heres an idea of what I'm talking about.

Same guy at Cloudbreak, tow in session I think...........

So yeah if your from Perth and interested, let know..... Kaz.

Love the vid Kaz. Excuse my ignorance but isn't quadriplegic mean arms and legs

Surf like that would be ideal. Sadly most Perth beaches will not be as forgiving.
Maybe a couple of special spots down Mandurah way. Were are you situated

Thornlie but will travel.... the Spot on a 4ft-5ft mellow day would do able I think but you need to travel for that but yeah finding decent surf in Perth isn't easy, yeah well I use to surf Chickens at Rotto when I was able bodied -says it all.... or maybe Cables if there is a big enough swell and it decides to break.

As for being a quad, it is all 4 limbs being impaired -injury above a certain point in your spine...... I have a look down Mandurah as I never use to surf there much..... ta.

Mate the last few years there has been a disabled surfers event in Bunker Bay, it is held during the summer time and has a heap of volunteers at each session. If anyone can think of the name of this please post it as it may help Kaz find a buddy to surf with. Not sure where Thornlie is but hopefully there are a few guys out there that can help out with out taking your cash so you can continue to be stoked.

I found a bit more on this. As i said i just admire people like yourself that get on with the job.

http://www.liferollson.org/site/pp.asp?c=egLLKTNJE&b=79276

Look i haven't surfed locally enough for some time now so the best spot to shoot for I'm not your man. Having said that i also don't have the best fitness and do work every Sat but would be stoked to be able to help out one Sunday if we can work i out.

I live North but am happy to travel..You may have to put up with a 10 year old and 7 year old dropping in on you but i'm sure we could sort something..

Maybe even a great way for a few breeze's to catch up. Maybe around Leighton or Cott area.

I have a NSP 7'6" that i thought might work well. Happy to bring along.

The board in clip has a lot of nose lift.

In a time where people are peaking out about crowds and trying to get a million waves in a session its nice to know there are more people around like you guys.
Good onya.

Dropped into a windsurfing shop yesterday to buy the straps I need and got the number of a guy who can fit them for us- had a look at buoyancy vest whilst I was there..... this morning I also went past Cables/Seconds reefs south of Cottesloe today, there is a concrete path heading down to the beach -10 meters from the shore.... I never saw it before or remember that was there even though I've been past that way 100's of times.... will have look down Mandurah way next weekend - anybody here have ideas here for breaks that are somewhat accesible/worth checking out?
