Conto springs was free at one stage , I think they may charge a small fee, if the ranger comes around early enough to catch ya . Great place that I remember. Probaly a bloody day spa with how Margs has changed in the last 20 years

Last time I stayed at Conto Springs was 1994 at $2 per person per night...its a nice place to stay this time of year. A few waves & caves to explore near by

What ever you do don't erect your one man tent/swag in a beach car park
I've nearly killed these campers when pulling up in the 4WD for the early
Your eyes are half glancing at the waves and it's still half dark as well
Was almost another addition for the Darwin awards

There's no free camping in and around Margs. It's all national park.
Just don't do it coz the rangers are aware of every nook and cranny. Plus if I see ya I'll report ya. I'm a rate payer

Hey Grevas , is that $15 per car or per person
If its per person its a bit pricey to take the family camping

Hendo just confirmed it was $10 per adult, kids were free. No power, but they supply fire wood and fire pits.

Yeah shame that's progress for you in the 70's I slept over night from Meelup to Boranup and all places in between..........and I ended up being a ratepayer as well through the 90's
