Hi guys,

me and my brood heading to Denmark for Easter for some waves and hopefully some fishing. My son is only 2.5 but I think its a good time to introduce him to the joys of tangles, bait and swearing.
I have a 4WD so off the beaten track is an option.
So, without giving any precious spots away, are there any good fishing spots that I could catch a few skippy, herring, salmon etc?
cheers

Could be easier to chase bream with such a young'un, no wave action and you can find a spot out of the wind. Will reduce tangles. Mouth of the Hay is good, Torbay inlet around the floodgates and the Frankland.

Grab a block of mulies, chop a few up for berley and cast out chunks on a 1/0 suicide with no sinker. No need to cast far, most of the fish will be near the reeds/bank. Leave the rod laying down with a bit of slack line and when the line starts to pull tight pick up the rod and set the hook.

Hard part is getting the little bugger to leave the rod alone long enough for the fish to find the bait.

Hi Smicko - that sounds much more sensible than a windy beach.
I will give it a go. since max has the attention span of a bream, they are well suited.
thanks for the advice mate.
