If you want value for money and the best uncrowded waves then Tony Eltherington is your man . We did a 12 day boat trip in June and couldnt fault anything.

Doris has been running charters out there longer than most, and he'd probably know the Ments better than anyone! In saying that the boat is a little bit older, but sometimes surf charters are more about the surf than the accomodation.

Twiggy on Kaimana/Kaimana II and Sooly on the Huey are both good aussie operators as well. I'd personally avoid the Brazzo boats like Moon Palakir, King Millenium etc. Generally Brazzos will want to surf 'postcard waves' and wont care about crowds. If there are 30 guys out and it's pumping, they are happy to paddle out and hassle for their share. Aussies on the other hand are a bit more chilled on wave selection, but will want uncrowded waves wherever possible.

If you've got the means check out the Indies Trader IV (aka the Ratu Motu or the Death Star). It's Martin Daly's boat and by far the biggest and best equipped surf vessel in the ments (and probably on the planet).
