Sorry, haven't tried one, but it looks like one of those lowest common denominator boards. Designed to be as good as possible for the widest range of people... but probably no good for any one person in particular (which is a gripe I have with production sailboards also).

6'5" Shortboard: Bigger version of dynamic 6'2” for heavier riders or lighter surfers wanting a performance board but with great wave catching ability.


Frankly: no. A light person's wave catching machine is not the same as a heavier person's throw around board, even if they nominally have the same volume. Rocker and rails would be the biggest problem.

Isn't that the same question you asked of Naish?
Most of the big name production manufacturers make windsurfers,surfboards, sups and probably steak knives as well.
