Hey guys i'm looking at maybe buying a cheap ebay longboard as it's hard to find a cheap second hand one around the traps.

Anyone with any feedback on these boards? Was mainly wondering how long they last. I'm not too concerned with perfomance (they're mals) and I won't be using it in surf over 2ft.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for local shapers. Getting a custom shortie built atm. But just want a cheap summer paddler and don't have unlimited moolah.

Check out gumtree. There are a few rare gems every now and then. Thats where I get most of my boards really. Someones junk is another man's treasure!

Also second gumtree. Bought a few cheap second hand boards off there!

or grow a few special tomato plants and buy a custom is gumtree profitable plant matter as well

Good call for boards on gumtree, fellas. I have sold but never bought gear off there. There's loads of boards for sale.

Just picked up a 7'5" Bruce Montgomery mini mal

I can't get my head around the fact I now actually own a mini mal though. Been resisting getting one for years.

Just waiting on my Oceanline custom now Missus will be happy I've expanded the quiver again
