Picked up my new Ron House 9-1 this week and decided to put a mosaic deck grip on it and best part it cost nothing .I rang to all my mates and got all there left overs from when they fitted deck grips to there boards , 4 hours & 8 beers later this is the result... I put a cross hair in the middle of the board for a foot guide which worked out spot on , the knuckle of my big toe just sits over it. The grip is sensational and you can grab with your toes and inch your foot foreword without lifting int. I had 4 different brands of grip which were different thickness so I put all the thicker grips at my feet area.

I went for a paddle on it the canal after I was finished with a gut full of beer and still managed came to back dry. and the grip is way better than a standrad pad , best part is it cost nothing bar my time and beer. Here is a before and after shot.
