Terrible first post but thought I should warn people . . .
Mullaloo Point carpark (the northernmost carpark) has been hit by the car thieves . . . took my son out for a surf two weekends ago and while we were in the water they broke into my 4wd and cleaned it out! I lost a Waeco car fridge, some cash, a mobile and most importantly my surfing bag with all my spare FCS fins!
This week heard from a friend that her dad's car had been broken into in the same carpark last weekend.
The police told me these mongrels do a run up or down the coast, cruising each carpark - if no-one is around they break into a couple of cars then take off for the next beach. Keep an eye out for them - don't hide your keys as they know where to look!
If you go to Mullaloo and see some low life cable-tied to a post with both his legs broken then you will know I have got some payback!

a few kiters park there, I remember in summer a lady had her window smashed and stuff stolen.
take everything of value out of your car before you go there by the looks. if they cant find the key they'll smash a window if there's stuff to knock off. I dont know what you would do with the mobile phone?? maybe put it in the boot or hide it well?
