Im looking for a pair of booties but they need to be round toe. I need to strap my three toes together for support and so a split toe shoe simply won't work. Now they tell me

I have seen a few they normally call the Indo reef walkers, but they seem to have little to hold them on (no draws string even around the ankle) and I'm not sure if they are any good. Has anyone used them

If anyone has seen any or can suggest a place that may have good stocks of different booties could you please suggest a few names

It can be online if need be although i have looked at all the obvious places, i think

Edit: I should say I'm only after small ankle style booties, 1, 1.5 or 2 mm thickness at best..

Here you go JB, no split toe and what looks like a secure locking mechanism.

Try "The Wetsuit Centre". Mostly 5mm but they have a decent selection.

Ill try that one. It seems the rounded toe seems to be only for cold water boots..

Im thinking i may try the socks tapped on though? Any thoughts it that will stay on

Why don't you just tape your toes and not worry about the booties(or socks??)?

I've surfed with taped ankles and never had a drama with the tape if thats the issue. I cant see booties providing anymore support/protection over the tape.

Yeah may have to be an option. Its just that the second toe now resembles the Sydney Harbour bridge and booties would help if i kick it again. It tends to get kicked on pop up..

Just wanting to cover as many bases as i can so i can move past this stupid injury..

Fair enough. I personally dont like wearing booties so I would always try and avoid it but some people seem to prefer wearing them!

Maybe get one of these www.3pointproducts.com/toe-loop-for-hammertoes and elastoplast over the loop so you dont lose it.

Thats cool, i was looking for something like that but i need to tape all three toes(including the big toe). Tape is not so bad and after the first go the hair is no longer an issue either

I found some on the "The wetsuit centre " Page. Oneil but they say they won't ship to Aus and so i contacted Oneil and they said they didn't exist.

Anyway i have gone this way, i may still find something in Hawaii
