Hi,just shaped my 2 nd surfboard .Like to set red x fin@boxes in. Do I after routering holes have to put mattingaround boxes or just resin into place .

I've done boards with FCS and Probox I didn't put and mat in for the proboxes but I did use resin fillers to thicken the resin.

Don't go for the cloth, just use ground fibres mixed into the resin. Q cell will weaken it but a little can be used to thicken and whiten the mix as long as you use the ground fibre. Red X are not so common so make sure you can get spares.
