Monkey, I had a Carve board for about a year or so. Really good for tar surfing. They are a very tunable hill charger. Once you get your skills up you can actually weave up slight hills! Definately even more fun if you can get a mate to get one as well. We used to hang a rope from the back the car and tow up the hills and carve down, then change with the driver, wikid fun!

You can get them off me at carveboard australia headquarters 0265597033 or checkout website www.carveboardsports.com.au for the list of retailers. Carveboards - $566.50 there are also 3 carvestik models which are a bit cheaper than the carveboard.
P.S these boards are the closest dryland board to surfing and snowboarding and VERY ADDICTIVE!!!

Carveboards, Surfstiks, Longstiks, Twinstiks are all available at Cross Shore Kiteboarding. www.xshore.com.au and follow the links.
They are awesome for surf, snowboard, kitesurf cross training and have been lately riding my 8 ply natural in the local skate park along the wall just like carving a wave face.
All those that have bought have raved about them afterwards with plenty of "thanks its awesome" emails returned.

Cheers

How different are the surfstiks to the carveboards?
Other then one is cheaper? Are the carveboards ALOT closer to surfing on land then the surfsticks?

nothin compares to ridin the carvies whether you are on the stiks or the original carve boards. they are sooooo good and soooo good for your surfing and snowboarding but more than anythin else, just heaps of fun and such a sweet way to spend time which also cranks you for your riding in the surf or snow. definitely definitely rateable and one fo the gotta gets. i reckon for improvin your ridin in the surf or snow, the go is the carve board cos bit more versatile for ridin steeps n that by being able to adjust the tyre inflation depending on where your ridin. you can also get them from www.walkinonwater.com at heaps good prices, cheaper than shops too!!
u gotta grab one to play on!!
