Hi, does anyone know anything about this brand and board? I have had for many years sitting under the house.

Well I'd guess early 70s...maybe late 60s....cut laps were still being done then.....The 2 bros who ran a surfshop at Bronte(Storm was one)may have made it?

been referred to occasionally in reference to swell ,,,flat as a sh8 t carters hat....!

Can't be certain but it looks like a backyard job to me. Reason being the brand name Carter looks like it was done with Letraset rub on lettering using the stringer line as a reference to line up the letters. I did a couple like that myself back in the early 70's.

thanks for all your feedback. I will try the vintage suggestion, but also agree that it was probably a home made job. I won't bank on getting $10,000 for it then!!!
