I'm from the US and I'm coming to visit Sydney and was wondering how the surf is at the beginning of July. Can I surf? Is it easy to rent a board? Where's the best place to surf?

if you are a surfer than yes you can surf, but if you only wanna give it a try it is very easy to find schools, and hire shops,. i have only been on holidays to sydney so i dono names of places, but they are every where, so dont worry about getting there and not finding anywhere to find a board.

Answer some troll filtering questions first...
Where are you from in Bush The Terrorist Land?
Are you a good surfer? What kind of waves do you like?
Why dont you bring your own surfboard?

So warm and welcoming greenroom, do you usually treat potential visitors with such a distasteful manner?

If you are coming as part of the U.S fleet that is going to visit, you will be in the Eatern Suberbs, and the best place for you would be Bondi.
Lots of rentals at Bondi,or Manly on the Northside.
Welcome

Thanks for all your help...i'm coming in with the U.S. Fleet that's why I can't bring my board. I'm from Virginia but I learned how to surf in Hawaii. I heard Maroubra is sick! but who are the Bra Boys (was that a joke?)? Should I pack my wet suit?

I surfed Maroubra a few years back not knowing where I was. I hitched a ride from the city. The blokes had their boards with them and it was smoking but didnt seem keen to get outta the car when I asked them if they were staying. Now I know why the bastards drove off so fast and the driver kept checking over his shoulder and telling me to hurry up get outta the car your ride stops here mate. I had a fun surf and managed to keep outta trouble. This one dude kept eyeing me off in the line-up and he kept paddling past me real close and sitting right in my way. But when I got onto the beach was approached by a bloke who was accompanied with the same bloke who was intimidating me in the water. They had tatts all over their arms and asked me what I was doing there and where I was from. I told them I was from WA on hols and they just walked off picked up their boards and paddled back out. At the time I didnt sh1t myself but when I learnt of the Bra Boys I fkn shat bricks
