Any one riding or ridden on of these?

this is the board based on Tom Curren's 85 Bells board, and since I live 20 mins from Bell's and a local shop has one 2nd hand I was thinking of grabbing it.

Havent ridden one, but I have looked at a couple, very sharp rails. I would think that it would be a very responsive board, they also have a lot of rocker so take that into consideration. How big is it?

I would love one myself but its a bit advanced for me, I like a flatter rocker and more golf ball shaped rails

I am currently spending a lot of time on my 6'4", 19.1/2" x 2 1/2" Webber afterburner SLX epoxy, my other board is a conventinal 6'8" x 20x 2.3/4 swallow tail single concave.

Was thinking this would be a great inbetween board for good waves it's a 6'6" 19.1/2 x 2.5/8.

have only ever ridden swallow tail thrusters, I loved my rounded pin single fins back in the day and all my performance mals are round pins.

the black beauty seems to have more meat in the nose, which suggests it would paddle into waves nicely, alot of the board from the mid 80's were quite forgiving as well

Those Afterburners are popular, the BB looks the goods and at that size, I take it you are 85kgs + its a good wave board for sure

Went and checked it out last night, looks like a nice board, wants too much for the condition it is in

Its kinda a peice of history and a board suited to the man, but boards can vary so much Curren himself may not like that particular board...buy it ride it.
