I'm going to thin out the quiver to make some room for some new blood. The Goddard is the new "Go to".

Going - 10'2 Hotlog & 10' Whalebone
Coming - ???

Listen to the Canadian brains trust.

Do not sell the Hotlog.

You probably only need one 10fter in the quiver I reckon - if it's the right one.
So... which one...

The Goddard is not the ideal 1'-2' board for me, the Hotlog is very versatile but I'm thinking the Goddard + a dedicated flat rocker board for those micro days.

Could all just be a misguided excuse for fresh foam and resin........

Vanders I think my current NR and your Goddard are too close dims and surface area,I think you should order one like my old one but a little longer,10.2 x 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 or 1/4 that way it will be bigger differance and less a struggle on those micro days.I'm not going to sell it to you because I don't want you to be stuck with an unbalanced quiver again.

Now TB who was on a green board in Byron who's board are you talking about?

You still got a thing for that one eh
Beautiful board....love the shiny Red...
I ain't selling mine in a hurry.

As for V...
I think it's too hard to find good ones you like so don't get rid of them till you are certain...

But I have a different mindset to you blokes my goal is to find a good board I like and ride it and enjoy it.
Once I find one that I like its in the quiver and then I move onto the next hunt..

I'd rather get something completely different to a board I own and like then trading in a good one on something not much different.

Yep. So definitely yep. A voice of sanity. Keep the keepers and try different stuff not more of the same.

Why would Vanders want to keep his whale board? it was made a couple of years ago for how he was surfing and his weight at that time, well times have changed time to take the training wheels off and let rip, just my take on it who surfs with him more than anybody

But you said he is comfortable and surfs it good.

Why would you get rid of it to try and find something that he might like.. Look at how many you have been through and still haven't found what you want.

If it's a keeper then keep it and surf it? They are surfboards after all.

And save for the different board. It's not unusual - not common, but not unusual - to get a new board and find out the grass ain't greener. Keep it. Get anothery and if it turns out all good, then sell the first one. Otherwise, sell the second and continue the search. I have had only four or five real keepers. If he has one, keep it.
Plus, not knowing anyone, shouldn't you be trying a good mid length now?

Mate its a bloody barge anybody could ride it.I flick boards not because I don't like them matter of fact my last one is getting flicked as I ordered a new one this morning.Other changes I've made are width and thickness on my NR boards.
