Nice work Mike...against my better judgement I went down there on Tuesday for a first-hand look during the thick of it. Wasn't just wild down there, it was fkn violent. Reckon Mother Nature had raging, Force-10 PMS that day.

terrific video Mike and the before unseen height perspective of the glorious HMB in its many different moods.... heres a few snaps of last week and one of those dark moods but was so exciting to see the destructive power of the Bay firsthand.......

Wow... thanks Mike... great video... love the quadcoptor view.

Looked nasty in the stills... the wreck makes more sense when you see that

Hey Rik, here's a little of the history of our wreck

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMVS_Cerberus

Last Tuesday was extraordinary at our local. Along that part of our coast there are several km of walking paths protected by bluestone sea wall, built as a public works project in the '20's , partly to keep returning soldiers gainfully employed after WW1 (you can see a little of it in Mike's second pic). Having stood firm for nearly a century, much of it, walls and paths, was destroyed that day and it will be many months before the damage is repaired. Crazy stuff.

Sensational video Mike.

More reasons why HMB is our home turf / training ground!

Thanks HC.... that was an interesting read.... the wreck became much more, with a little history.

It's amazing... a powered steel battleship, being built before the "Wild West" period in American history..... seems like an anachronism
