That's crazy & why not use a proper dw board.

Blowing an absolute gale. Not bad swell for a lake. Would be fun with a proper board. But it shows their dedication to SUPing using inflatables lol

Much safer on a lake like that than on the sea that's for sure.

Water temp where I am is currently 9 degrees centigrade so the lake will probably be a tiny bit colder...it's about 3 hours drive south from me.

the winds would have been 50 to 60 mph I guess.....been stormy here.

JEG....few people in the north of England and Scotland have full on DW boards....I guess freezing waters, freezing air temps and exposed waters maybe means DW hasn't grabbed too many folk. The potential is massive though....but I certainly prefer it in the warmer months. Very risky at times in winter but the sport is growing.

Great fun. Yes it looks windy and cold but you are rarely far from help unless you are up north in Scotland.

Not really understanding that last post. I know this area well, there is no rescue service on that lake, and in that weather, unlikely you would be seen from the shore. If something went wrong, like a snapped leash, best you can hope for is to swim or drift to the shore, or wait for the Coastguard helicopter and due to government cutbacks there aren't as many as there used to be. Either way I reckon you'd be looking at an hour in the water.

Yep, no disrespect here as there are some super dangerous conditions in the UK and all the english sports people are lovely and sometimes a little mad.
Its blowing a gale, the water is probably close to freezing and the coast guard is likely to take an hour or so.

Really enjoyed the video and keep having fun boys.
