Yess! It's going to be a great inter club series.
Sup racing is an individual sport but when you are competing in a club environment a win for your club means so much more.
Will team tactics come into this also like cycling? Will someone be nominated to lead the draft train to let a more powerful club member take the glory at the end?
Could get interesting ultimately it is a fun event series but I can see it getting competitive very quickly..

SUNSHINE COAST SUP CLUB presents Round 1 of the Tri-Series "King and Queen of Clubs, SUNDAY 9th NOVEMBER 2014
Location: Cotton Tree Park near the PierTime: Registration from 7am first event starts at 9am rego closes 8.30am
>Cost of entry: $10, all paddlers must be a member of either Sunshine Coast SUP Club, BrisSUP or SUPSA, (you can join Sunshine Coast SUP Club for $20 on the day plus $10 entry).Food: Sausage sizzle, fruit and drinks provided for all competitors. Food also available for purchase.
Programme:
7.00am Registration
8.30am race briefing/marshalling
9 am 2.5km course - open men and women any board
10 am 7km course - 14' and 12'6 - open, O/40's, O/50's men and women
10.45am Teams BOP style relay
11.30am Kids fun raceAll races will be set on a tight spectator friendly course with plenty of good viewing areas so spectators can get plenty of photos of the whole event.
Should be a fantastic fun day, look forward to seeing everyone there...
