After letting the kids play all over my 8'9 Quad recently over the xmas holidays, my board deckgrip has got slippery when using it in the surf.

Only thing I can think of is maybe some of the sunscreen may have rubbed off onto the deckgrip pad and made it slippery.

Does anybody have any suggestions as to the best way to clean the grip to make it normal again so I don't fall a##e in when surfing.

I don't want to have to peel off the grip and put another one on.

Hi if you use a detergent called "Truck wash" its a blue colour, it will remove most greases without being corosive.
