Would like to get some help on how to secure boards when not in use
going on a camping trip and staying in caravan park and don't won't it to go missing
any help/ideas would Be appreciated

Try Docks Locks. They work on the same principle and you can buy individual parts for securing multiple boards. I use them and they work great.

Obviously a deterrent and gets rid of opportunists. You know the old saying, if they really want it they will get it.

I also use additional security in the way of a 50kg German Shepherd but they are a bit more expensive

I've bought 3 sets from them with no hassles.

The kayak type locks serve their purpose however the Docks Locks are more versatile as you can lock your board to anything and not just your roof racks.
