tomooh said..nice waves

, interesting to watch as I have the same board and weight, I was watching where you have your feet, my board feels best the further back and on the rail I can move my back foot in the turns , seems to slow down and not turn as well if my weight is further forward. Best board I have ridden although the deck is staring to get a bit of a soft spot.
I hate to think of anyone looking at my feet position - I doubt they are in the best position...
But I agree - if I can get my back foot on the rail, above or behind the fins it just takes off. It feels as if it accelerates, and the turns are amazing (to me). If my back foot is not far enough back then it is slower and sluggish on the turns.
I don't know if it is me, but there are times when I am paddling for the wave and just starting to ride the wave where it seems to drag heavily in the water - I feel as if I am having to push it to get it up on a plane. Once you get it going it seems OK, but it feels like it is spraying water forward - you can see it in the picture below. Maybe it is me. Maybe all boards do it. I have wondered if it is due to the amount of rocker.
(I do have small indentations where my feet are normally positioned when paddling - but at the moment they don't seem very bad. I have only had it since October.)
