Sorry I didn't know it was that old..

I guess paddles were much heavier back then.. Just kidding.. anyway.. It's not good pr for sup'ing whatever happened..

I've actually heard of this happening at our local break.. Not good..

yeah never good, surprised more things like this or fights haven't happened out there since then as it does get rather crowded, not quite how it happened though

Still, not condoning the striking of another person with a paddle. I'm curious about the guy blacking out and his son rescuing him and dragging him a kilometer to shore. No matter what altercations happen, most people wouldn't leave someone to drown in the water.

previous altercation jks, if you get hit in the back of the head it can cause black eyes, i don't know why but my sister whom is a nurse said it does happen
