Imagine if you sprayed Nano on your Power Balance band how fast you'd go then.

Not quite sure why it's so important to seal pores at a molecular level, but I'm convinced. At least until someone comes up with a product that improves performance at a sub-atomic level.

I guess they have to be sealed at the molecular level just like racing yachts with billions of dollars of research that actually have fairly rough hulls rather than polished and sealed molecularly.

Of course, SUP is a burgeoning sport with people that have lots of money. A great market for a Nano snake oil salesman with something to sell.

Take a read of this article by Epic Kayaks. You'd have just as much benefit in just keeping your board clean.

Hmmm, Sound like BS to me...
Why do dinghy sailors sand their hulls with
400/800 wet and dry?? I think because its faster
to have a matt finish. And polish that beads water
is slower.
I'm not convinced about the subatomic level stuff.

When "Pro Finish" (Matt Finish) first came out in the 80's, wasn't that claiming to actually be faster than gloss...???

I think staying off the booze, and seeing a dietician and a personal trainer will improve your racing 10 fold more though !!

Good point Simondo, however was it the unpolished finish that was sold to us punters in the 80's as lighter weight boards.Zip Zap

If they were serious about the product it would be easy to do a non-bullsh1t, reasonably scientific test to prove that it works and how much the effect is.

(eg. Measuring the glide of identical boards in still water with a known amount of thrust. Measuring the drag on identical boards in a constant water flow. etc etc etc)

Instead they have testimonials and endorsements from a bunch of boofheads.

Hmmmmm, I've heard that before.

I just looked at the web site and even the "Technical Advisors" are a bunch of surfers. No sign of any chemists or physicists or ....

Welcome to the USA.

I'd be interested to see what LSD has to say on this one, he builds his own boards and yachts
