First test of the "DJ" plumbing pipe rear mount contraption. I've been admiring DJ's videos for so long I had to go and make one up as well.

Seems mine is a little more shaky and hats off to you DJ for mounting this on virtually every run you do! It's a lot of work to strap on and makes the board feel pretty crappy as every little roll is exaggerated...Conditions were a little soft with 18-26knots - our run only seems to really come alive at 30knots+.

It was hitting 42knots the day before yesterday, but "DJ" mount wasn't ready, so no footage, but man the new Glide loves strong wind....

Good one Peter, it's great that people are going to the effort to share the videos. There was a bit of wobble first up, but seemed OK after that. What would be really cool is a quadcopter with 1hr battery that you could program to hang at any position and follow you. Actually, saw a video the other day of two programmed quadcopters chucking a stick between each other... worth searching for if you're into that sort of thing - shows what will be possible/commonplace in the not to distant future.

Good the hear the v3 glide is still giving a good vibe.

[edit... the video is here www.ted.com/talks/raffaello_d_andrea_the_astounding_athletic_power_of_quadcopters.html, start at 3:30 ]

Pete. That looked so fun. Thanks for posting. Hanging for conditions like that here. Dave
