Hi guys this is what I'm left with after my flight home. It's the middle (shaft) piece of a naish makani 3 piece.
The airline was fantastic and gave a full refund on the paddle.
Apparently Naish sell the handle section and the blade section separately, but not the middle piece.
Any ideas on the best way if any to fix this. Just to keep as a spare.
Cheers FB

nice vid.
Or you could just go to any kayak store and get a fiberglass spigot and do similar (make sure its a snug fit).
With the shaft just cut the ends straight beforehand. ANd if you didn't want to go to all that trouble of sanding and with the carbon cloth finish just use some electrical tape, or get some shrink tape also a kayak shop should have this (put on shaft before glueing!).
Good luck
