almost any shape will go well in good waves imho, also the guys that test ride boards could surf on a door. its great that everyone is different and likes to ride different stuff.

Yes, good to see some creativity hold by big brands too instead of duplicate champs's sample board.

Agree with Sharpie. Any board goes well in good waves. I grew up in Jeffreys Bay and I still can't believe the boards I grew up surfing and how crap they went everywhere else except J-Bay. I prefer to find shapers who make boards for the average surfer. Most surfers are average. This includes me. I assume the same applies to SUP's.

I agree with both of you.
I show this kind of outline because it can be adapt to SUP for 2 reasons:
1/ the depression at paddling position can do a very effective row.
2/ as volume stand in ends the board is more stable than the Vangard type design.

Would be fun to ride however

This progressive shape absolutely rips too, can't wait for it to be enlarged to ride as a sup

It does better duck dive rather than it rips
