So it sounds like I need about 50 fins and experiment ??
You do not "need" anything. Surfing is just fun, do as you please.
But experimenting with fins is really fun and open up a lot of different feelings, especially with the FCS1 system where a lot of not-too-expensive fins can be found.
With the creek having only 3 boxes, with a thruster set and a Twin + trailer, you can already experiment a lot with 6 fins.
Consider buying fins as progressively building a quiver that you will reuse across boards for years.
On the "standard" shaped fins, I love also the FCS nexus. They have a very refined foil, giving a lot of fluidity in the ride. I use them on longer boards (8'+) where I do not need powerful fins.
