Hi.
i have been searching for a SUP that I can go on with my dog. I have a bit of a budget. I saw an Aquamarine Monster (12 foot) advertised for a great price.

Can anybody share their experience or tell me if this a good buy or not? In terms of quality, how it rides etc.

thanks!

Hi Matt,

I have a 2019 Aqua Marina Atlas 12' x 33" x 6". I also have a Fanatic Fly Air 10.6' x 34 and when it comes to carrying a dog or a child it's a lot more comfortable on a 12 footer.

Aqua Marina have good build quality for the money and are a well respected mid-range inflatable brand that has been slowly improving year by year. They've dropped the Monster (12' x 32" x 6") from the range for this year, and it's probably why you've seen it on sale for a good price as it's probably a 2017/18 model.

The Monster should serve you purpose well if you get it for a good price, but just check that you can't get something newer/better for the same money elsewhere. Have a look at the place where I bought my Atlas and compare prices.

they seem to have a good rep, lastibility is the issue ive noticed, most getting 2-4 years max and lots of seam issues
