Yep, got rid of my old glide 17 due to a storage issue. Within a few months I had moved anyway and could now accommodate it. Even emailed the guy I sold it to and asked if he wanted it still and that I'd buy it off him, unfortunately he wanted to hang on to it

Hey Bspot you are the first person that I have run in to that has ridden that board.
It has been the only board I have ridden since I started paddling a couple of years ago, got it second hand from a lady. Love the glide and speed even though it was a bit hard at the beginning as it is not the most stable board but still loving it.
I've been saving to buy a smaller board around the 9'0 mark but would definitely keep the Superfish hoping that it will be a collectable one day haha
In what sort of conditions did you ride your SF?

Nope, I guess mostly due to advances in construction: There are some models I sold whose shapes I liked, but I would not get back to them as they would be either heavier or more fragile than a modern construction.
I must say it happened temporarily: I missed a board, but no less than 2 years afterwards new models would come out that would be better than the one I sold.
I guess it is because SUP has been in its infancy, and progresses have been too important to imagine going back. There will be a point where designs will stagnate, and old boards will be as viable as new ones, like with sailboards: I would gladly use again some of my post-1985 sailboards, with some minor tweaks (moving back the mast track), but none before. And sails not before 2000.
On prone surfboards however, I had plenty of boards I regret selling, as I would not mind surfing a board build 40 years ago construction-wise. I still call me a damned fool to have sold one of the last pre-"potato chip" Al Merrick Tom Curren tri-plane hulls.

Some people have buyer's remorse. I get seller's remorse. Every single time.

Not really, but since I started surfing and appreciating having a 10' longboard sup this last summer, I have wondered a few times if I would have liked the 9'-4" Walden Magic sup I had the first year I started.

I assume you are selling the Baby Bomb as it is too narrow?? Stungun is 30.5 wide but surfs like a narrower board.

Really regret selling my old Surtech Laird.
Got a flash new 2015 JP Surf Pro which is super light & very high performance, and more like a shortboard. But as a 40+ year old I'm no 'ripper' any longer, and I really miss the simplicity of a big SUP board in tiny little peelers, and playing around on it with the family.
Would happily buy/trade another old Laird if anyone out there in internet land has one!
