Hi guys, I have a very well used carbon race board that has had a number of repairs. its stored outside, though in shade its had a tough life. On the bottom of it I have recently noticed 2 decent size bulges 5cm-10cm in length each. Now I have no doubt it has water in the board as the carbon just seems so thin on this old girl it doesn't take much to crack it at all and I have put a few cracks in it coming into shore on rocks etc and at present it has a couple puka patches on it holding it together till I find the time to take it off the water for repairs.
It's still a good board and I want to keep it though I think it needs a bit of care and repair to see it last a couple more years. I'm all good with fixing the small cracks though anything serious I have sent it to a board guy before. Just wondering if there is anything simple I can do at home to fix the dalmatian. to smooth out the bumps on the bottom.
Anyone had any experience with this repair work before??
This one's not a race sup either - but its definitely a dalmation ON a paddleboard (sorry can't help with the dalmation delimitation delamination issue.)
