hi savage
i'm about 86kg just before my early morning pie intake and have had the hobie 12'6 elite race board for a few weeks now
ive had it out in a variety of conditions ranging from total glass flatwater to 30kt open ocean downwinders, 2 to 4 ft beachies and a quick stint on a sucky 4ft rock ledge point break and i just love how it performs and stands up to some solid punishment!!!!
imo its not as quick as some of the lower rocker boards ive paddled (in the flatwater) but by far it out performs them in all other conditions cause thats what its designed for
and with guys like chuck patterson n kurt byron involved in the RND that went into this boards production you cant really argue with that.......well maybe lacey could.....
for me... i've had an absolute ball surfing on 12'6 and found it does some magical cutbacks once you plant the backfoot on the tail and start driving it into turns on an open face....yewwwwww....lol.....
rock on
geez, a bloke disagrees with god (dj) once and its on the resume for ever
