Exactly what conditions are allowing you to foil? It doesn't look super windy.

I assume you're riding downwind and the wind is creating waves for you to foil on.

I guess you're also riding downstream. Is there much current in the river? Wouldn't current subtract from the apparent flow of water over the foil?

This day we had maybe 12 to max 15knots and a 2 knot current agaisnt us. The bumps are pretty lined up and it's all fairly easy with a little practice.

I feel it is a bit easier here than in the ocean but really I will need to get back home to really give a true answer as to what is easier as I have learned alot here.
