Ive seen a few times the laying keel date embedded in the hull fibreglass in a hidden spot, like in a lazarette or in a corner in the bow maybe have a search around there.

Trek has very similar timber work, same style, and is 1990.

I feel your frustration about the lack of information of your yacht.
Record keeping was not a strong point of some boat builders in the past.
I have the same void about my yacht - an Adams 28 - and owners of the same were not very helpful either. Years ago I was promised fotos and info from NZ and OZ but it came to nothing. Some owners just do not care about helping others.

My mate's Cav 32 was built in the mid seventies using dark mahogany veneers while my Adams built in 89 featuring similar timber to yours (fotos) much lighter color, according to the changing tastes in interior finishing. Mine is called 'white teak' on the production sheet l have.

On that basis l would dare to guess, yours was built in the late eighties.

Aus35 I have a Cav 37 with the rattan door inlay on the cupboards she is a 1986 model do you have a fold up Nav table in the Aft berth and a solid forward hatch over the V berth?
