Hi Justin,
I am glad someone bought that boat....I was tempted at the price but don't have the time to do it justice. I will be keen to see how you go with it. I have to bring my Redwitch home as the handstand is needed for the Mandurah boat show.....a pain but a good excuse to get the hull painted. I am tempted to pay to get the whole job done properly. Time is short and sailing is soon!
STUMAN,
what sander are you using? Mine is anti fouled and I am loath to strip it in on my verge, so may just do the topsides. The current paint is very chalky and chipping in places so it will be sizeable job.
ALL,
You blokes are bad...I just bought some Stiener binoculars...My boat is called 'Witch Way Now? and given my struggling to find the next mark I have kept the name! Hopefully new binoculars will help the visually challenged.
yours aye,
MM
Hi MEGAMIX,
Managed to pick it up at a great price, needs some work but planning on keeping her for a few years. Will most likely have the repairs done while she is down in Mandurah then pull her out in Henderson to paint the topsides. Im more than happy to pay someone to do it but seems a willing person is hard to find in Perth??
STUMAN - Ive been following your thread and looks like a great job! Would be very interested to see the final product and finish on the paint when you are done
DKD - im more than happy to leave it to a professional however here in Perth it seems very hard to find someone interested in doing the work
