A real stalwart was Laurie. Hugh Treharne was apprenticed to him so obviously a top educator as well as a fine sail maker........albeit Hugh had some skills..........

Brian Shilland was one of his apprentices and has his own loft under the name "Shilland Sails"
Brian still lofts sails the old fashion way on the floor with chalk and string lines A little help from the computer!
